During the Downtown Chico Public Art Tours, you’ll get the behind-the-scenes stories about local artists and their works throughout Chico on the first Saturday of the summer months (May to October) at 10am. The tours are led by Chico Arts and Culture Foundation volunteers and take about an hour, with under a mile of flat terrain. Check the Facebook page for more information.
On the tours you’ll see a variety of sculptures, murals, tile work, fountains, and street furniture.
The free tours meet at the “Our Hands” sculpture located next to City Hall, 411 Main Street at 10am.
