The Chico History Museum is conveniently located next to the CSU Chico campus, right across from the Madison Bear Garden. It makes for a perfect part of any afternoon, with exhibits that focus on Chico's changes throughout its history, Bidwell Park, the native Mechoopda tribe, and even a look at a local Chinese temple. Tickets to upcoming events can also be purchased via its website.

Admission: $5 for adults 18-64; $3 for 65+ and kids 5-17; Kids 4 and younger are free
