Get into the Christmas spirit by attending the Downtown Chico Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Chico City Plaza, a holiday favorite since 1978.
Once Santa lights the tree, enjoy ice skating and free photo with Santa for a real winter wonderland experience. And on the main stage at 4th Street between Main & Broadway, get into the spirit with a variety of live entertainment.
Schedule of Events
- 6pm-6:20pm: Tree lighting ceremony accompanied by the Sounds of the Valley Chorus
- 6:30pm-7:30pm: Chico State Music, Theatre, and Dance Department
- 7:30pm-8pm: Fire Dance Show performed by IllumaNexus
