The Chico Community Observatory provides the opportunity for the public, young and old alike, to come to explore the universe. With guidance from Observatory volunteers, a look through a telescope lens is even more exciting.
From constellations to planets to the Big Bang, the public is welcome at the Chico Community Observatory to learn about all kinds of celestial phenomena, all free of charge. With a mission to be part of the public good, the Observatory promotes astronomy and science, and allows the public a first-hand view of the night sky’s many wonders.
